October 2, 2010: The annual WHOAA Country Fair was held at Greensfelder Park Stable Ground.  This is a celebration of everything equine and rural in Wildwood.  Specific events included demonstrations of Polo, Parelli Natural Horsemanship, Western Please & Barrel Racing, Jumping, Dressage, Driving, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Missouri's own horse the Missouri Fox Trotter.

May 1, 2010:
Run for the Roses at Indigo Joe's.  In recognition of the hats at Churchill Downs a best hat competition was held as well as a pick your pony competition, trifecta meal special, in addition to a tip of the Mint Julep.  10% of the meal proceeds were donated by Indigo Joe's.

January 1, 2009: It's official!  WHOAA is now a not for profit corporation.  As of December, 2008, WHOAA was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in Missouri with the mission of preserving the agricultural lifestyle in Wildwood through public education and land conservation.  WHOAA's vision is an equestrian and farm friendly Wildwood that includes land preservation for equestrian use.  WHOAA's board of directors would like to express their sincerest thanks to David Braswell and Dan Cooper, attorneys of Armstrong Teasdale, who made this incorporation possible.


Upcoming Events

  • Trivia Night, Februrary 4, 2012 @ 7:00PM:  WHOAA's first Trivia night will be held at the Eureka Elks Club.  Price is $20 per person or $150 per table of 8.  Funds raised will be used to support the opening of the new Packwood Trail near Glencoe.  For reservations call Paula Sewell at 636.273.4491 or contact us at contact@whoaa.org.
